This represents the “heavy-duty” option within our acoustic panel lineup. Crafted from high-density polyester fiber (rather than standard foam), these panels measure 2 feet by 4 feet (approx. 0.6 x 1.2 meters) each, despite being only 6 mm thick. The 12-panel pack provides a total coverage area of ​​an impressive 96 square feet (approx. 8.9 square meters). Made from eco-friendly, formaldehyde-free polyester fiber, the material boasts a density of approximately 150 kg/m³ and delivers exceptional sound absorption (NRC ≥ 0.75) as well as thermal insulation performance (R-value ≈ 1.0). The surface is smooth and can be painted using water-based paints (professional guidance recommended). Installation options are versatile: panels can be adhered to walls using specialized adhesive, suspended from ceilings using a grid system, or laid directly beneath floating floor systems. Ideal applications include control rooms in large recording studios, side walls in home theaters, open-plan office ceilings, and wall treatments for music practice rooms. Compared to polyurethane foam, these fiberboard panels are more resistant to scratches and less prone to aging or crumbling over time. Each sheet is just 6 mm thick, ensuring it doesn’t take up excessive space—making it particularly suitable for rooms with low ceiling heights. Mounting screws and positioning clips are included with the product (adhesive must be purchased separately).
